Queen of the castle
A sweet little crown for you to crochet!
You'll need:
Scrap laceweight yarn (I used less than 1 gram for this)
Crochet hook size 2,5 mm
Hdc: Half double crochet
Sc: Single crochet
Ch: chain
Instructions:
Chain 13.
row 1. Work 1 hdc in second chain, work 1 hdc in rest of the ch. Ch 2, turn (11 hdc)
row 2. Work 2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in each stitch until last stitch, 2 hdc in last stitch. ch 2, turn. (13 hdc)
row 3. Work 2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in each stitch until last stitch, 2 hdc in last stitch. ch 2, turn (15 hdc)
row 4. Work 2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in each stitch until last stitch, 2 hdc in last stitch. ch 2, turn (17 hdc)
row 5. Work 2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in each stitch until last stitch, 2 hdc in last stitch. ch 1, turn (19 hdc)
row 6. 1 sc in each stitch. ch 1, turn
row 7. 2 sc, ch 4, skip 2, 4 sc, chain 6, skip 3, 4 sc, ch 4, skip 2, 2 sc. ch 1, turn
row 8. 2 sc, (3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc) in loop, 4 sc, (5sc, ch 3, 5 sc) in loop, 4 sc (3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc) in loop, 2 sc. cut yarn and pull the end through.
Steam lightly to block.
Usage: whatever you want! I use mine as a brooch, but you could also adorn a hairclip, mittens, a bag.. Sky's the limit!
